Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge Chatham Ma. July 22, 2012

So this trip originally was planned as a Beach hike, from the Chatham Light House where the Coast Guard is stationed, with preparedness to camp illegally on the beach over night...I still think that would be one hell of an awesome time...exhausting yes...dangerous yes...but still has yet to be ruled out...

As it turns out there is actual access to the area, with walking trails and all the little green headed sand flies you don't want... the lil f*ckers! There is a boat guided seal tour and seasonal boat trips to both North and South Monomoy Islands. Feel free to check the link below:
